The candidate Mul-IR 64 discovered by Lionel Mulato, is classified as a proto-planetary nebula (PPN) on the AAVSO website. This object has left its asymptotic giant phase (AGB) but is not yet a planetary nebula. The variability of Mul-IR 64 is clearly shown in the graph attached below. The candidates are said to be "published" when they are the object of an official publication in VizieR and in the CDS of the University of Strasbourg.
