Un article consacré aux candidates nébuleuses planétaires est paru dans le magazine de la SAF "L'astronomie" au mois de mars 2019. L'article traite des découvertes réalisées en 2018 et des missions du PNST qui se sont déroulées au cours de l'année 2018 dans le but de confirmer par spectroscopie la nature de certaines candidates.
